FYI - some feedback on deck and approach. Neil Callahan RSTP neil@rstp.com 917-945-9516 ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Neil Callahan <neil@rstp.com> Date: Mon, Oct 27, 2014 at 11:08 PM Subject: Re: thanks and looking forward to Wednesday To: Ken Nesmith <kenneth@counsyl.com> Cc: Alissa Reiter <alissa@counsyl.com>, Rob Guigley <rob@counsyl.com>, Ramji Srinivasan <ramji@counsyl.com> Looks very good. I would add a page on the team - the key executives at Counsyl and their vision, as well as the folks from Counsyl who will be on the phone so they know who they are talking too and can reference your bio/description when you are speaking on the call, will help engage all their senses when they are listening to you speak and can see your bio/profile (perhaps photo). Maybe a "Why Walmart, Why now" type of slide - flatter them a bit, pay homage/respect to them a bit - why they are awesome and would be the best partner in the world, why the timing is perfect . . . And maybe suggest some next steps that are short term / tactical in nature for the two companies to learn more about each other - visit Bentonville for a deep dive with business and science teams, invite them for a lab visit, meet at an upcoming industry conference or event, etc. - a few items / some choices - that are positive steps forward but does not limit your options. The power of suggestion is real, they may take your suggestions at face value or build on them and then say yeah that's a good idea let's go forward.
