From the School
QUERY
“Many new friendships are sprouting this spring, many old ones have blossomed. How can we plant a friendship that will grow to bring peace to the world?”
- Grade 3HELPING JAPAN
Team Two wants to thank all of you who joined us as we tried to express our care for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami that devastated the area around Sendai, Japan. We sent all of the cards of hope and support we gathered from Lower School to the Japanese Embassy. The Japanese Ambassador wrote to thank Lower School for sending messages of comfort in this most difficult time for Japan.
We also wanted to thank all of you who contributed to the Japan Relief fund by putting coins and bills in our collection bottles. Team Two was invited to the Ambassador’s Residence where we delivered a check to Ambassador Ichiro Fujisaki for all the money raised. This check for $507.83 included the money we collected, as well as the money raised by fourth graders who organized Sweets and Treats, Knitting the World Together and Candy Stripe Around Town.
Once again, we are grateful to you for joining with Team Two to offer comfort and support to the many Japanese people who have suffered during these difficult times.PRINCIPAL OF THE DAY
Start getting ready…. On Friday, May 27 Sydnee Lubar will be Principal of the Day. It is going to be a fun day with an Hawaiian theme filled with Beach Boy music, beach umbrellas, games, etc. Please dress appropriately in a fun Hawaiian manner and be prepared for some Hawaiian goodies.2011-2012 CALENDAR UPDATE

Divorced parents will provide their household information separately. Complete the online form no later than June 1st. Report cards will be held for returning students until the online form is submitted. After completing the form, additional changes can be made beginning July 1st.
