It has been a pleasure meeting you in Harvard Faculty Club last week. It is
great to find out that American companies and investors demonstrate interest
in doing business and exchanging competences with our Spanish companies.


I am following up on our conversation regarding Spanish High Speed Rail
projects, introducing you Carl Merten from the company PASCH.


I have worked with Carl in Alcatel TSD, later on Thales, where he led the
three High Speed Lines projects Lleda - Barcelona, La Sagra - Toledo and
Segovia - Valdestillas in a joint venture with Siemens.

Carl is managing director of the company called PASCH with more than 15
years of experience in the railway and energy sectors among other sectors,
for clients such as ADIF and RENFE. His company has developed strong
relationship with leading companies in the design, maintenance and
construction of railway systems such as TALGO and CAF, and with rail
signalling companies such as THALES, BOMBARDIER, SIEMENS, ALSTOM, and
DIMETRONIC.


I hope this introduction will open a conversation to explore mutual
