Dear 4X Parents,

The reviews are in, "Where the Mountain Meets the Moon" was a smashing
success. The critics all agreed that the show was "BREATHTAKING"
"SPECTACULAR" "MOVING AND HILARIOUS" "SELDEN AND ADELFIO HAVE DONE IT
AGAIN!" Congrats to Merry, Pam and our 4X students for a job well
done! Thanks to all of the parents who helped with costumes, the set
and the wonderful after-party refreshments!

This week:

MIDDLE SCHOOL TOUR -- For parents of rising 5th graders -- this
Tuesday, May 24 at 9:15 am -- meet in the MS lobby.

VEGGIE CUTTING -- Our 4X class is cutting veggies this coming
Wednesday, May 25 - we need one more parent volunteers to help out
from 8:30 - 9:15 am. Please let us know asap if you re available.

Also needed, a parent to help print the DVDs of our class play. This
is a very easy job that you will do in the computer lab (Jenni will
show you exactly what to do) and it will take only about 1 1/2 hours.
A Wednesday or Thursday morning is best. Please let us know if you
can help.

June 6 -- China Festival from 6- 8 pm.
June 9 -- Graduation at 9 am

PA ANNOUNCEMENTS:

MAY 24: MEETING FOR WORSHIP
You are welcome to join your child in the classroom for Meeting for
Worship. On May 24 the following classes will be in the Meetinghouse:
4X, 4Y, 3X.

MAY 27: PRINCIPAL OF THE DAY
Fourth grade student Sydnee Lubar will be Principal of the Day. It is
going to be a fun day with a Hawaiian theme filled with Beach Boy
music, beach umbrellas, games, etc. Please dress appropriately in a
fun Hawaiian manner and be prepared for some Hawaiian goodies.

LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE
It’s that time of year again! Look near and far, under the bed and in
the car…because library books are due back! Over-due letters (with
instructions on how to replace a lost book) have been sent home this
week. Thank you for your support of the LS Library.

UPDATE YOUR HOUSEHOLD INFORMATION
Please update your household and student information for the 2011-2012
school year no later than June 1. Report cards will be held for
returning students until the online form is submitted.
