In two weeks, Senator Reid will be hosting a breakfast for Congresswoman Shelley Berkley in Washington, DC on Thursday, May 26, at 7:45 am at the Source.

Senator Reid and Congresswoman Berkley have been friends for more than thirty years and there is no race more important to Senator Reid this quarter than Congresswoman Berkley's race for the Nevada Senate. Political pundits from Charlie Cook to Nevada's own Jon Ralston call this race a pure toss-up. And with President Obama's campaign and the Nevada Democratic Party in full swing, Congresswoman Berkley will have a clear advantage in this race.
