Mark – I would like to reach out to Hunter regarding the restaurant I am invested in (minor amount) in NYC. As I mentioned, my friend is opening a location in DC and is raising cash. They have already raised most of it but I always believe, especially in the restaurant biz, that cash is nice but it’s the network and clientele of the investors and sponsors that draw in the business (assuming the food and location are great).

The name is Boqueria (www.boquerianyc.com<http://www.boquerianyc.com>) and the concept is upscale Spanish tapas. I invested in the first location in NYC (19th street btw 5/6th) and they have opened a second in SoHo. Both restaurants do extremely well and my investment was quickly paid back. I will not be invested in DC but if I lived there I would. I am getting nothing for the intro nor have I looked at the details. Just making a referral because you never know!
