MAY 16: JOIN TOM FARQUHAR FOR CONVERSATIONS ON DIVERSITY
Join Head of School Tom Farquhar for a second Conversation on Diversity (6:30 to 7 pm refreshments, 7 to 9 pm conversation) in the MS Drama Room. The 2012-2024 Strategic Plan calls for Sidwell Friends to address issues of different ethnic and cultural groups, to celebrate and promote a community based on inclusion and respect for differences, and to encourage close interaction among students, parents, teachers, and staff with varying backgrounds, experiences, interests, and perspectives. The Conversations on Diversity series helps Tom and the Board shape and articulate goals and objectives as Sidwell Friends prepares for an increasingly global and multicultural community and world.

2011-2012 CALENDAR UPDATE
The calendar for the 2011-2012 school year is available. One update: Tuesday, Nov. 29, is now a 12:15 pm early dismissal for Lower School for faculty professional development. Please mark your calendars.

It is time to update household and student information for the 2011-2012 school year. Update your information here no later than June 1. Report cards will be held for returning students until the online form is submitted.
