Leif,

Thanks again for your offer to meet with the folks from HNTB. As you may be aware, HNTB is bullish on the opportunities in Maryland and is actively looking to expand its presence in the State. As they move towards opening their first office in MD, they are meeting with a variety of stakeholders to get a better understanding of the market. After a follow up discussion with Colm, he suggested they sit down with you and your team.

As a precursor to the meeting I know HNTB was hoping to touch on a variety of issues, including: federal congressional surface transportation funding, state toll initiatives, light rail expansion and P3 programs. I know HNTB is particularly interested in talking to you about work they have been doing that has been helpful to states that have lost federal transportation funding and are looking to make up shortfalls. Once we have a date set for the meeting HNTB will put together a more detailed agenda to send to you for review so that the meeting is productive for both sides.

Please let us know if there are a couple of dates and times in the next few weeks that work with your schedule.
