Registration is now open for the 10^th Annual DAGA Pre-CWAG Reception and
Dinner on in advance of the CWAG Annual Meeting on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at
the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows a short distance from CWAG’s host
hotel, the Fairmont Orchid. We look forward to welcoming as many as 250
guests in the tropics of Hawaii for this family-friendly event, which always
offers something unique. We anticipate as many as 15 Attorneys General and
their staff to join our host Hawaii Attorney General David Louie.

Save the date for the 2011 DAGA Fall Policy Conference at the Sonoma
Fairmont Mission Inn & Spa in Sonoma California on Wednesday, September 14
and Thursday, September 15, 2011. Join us in California wine country for 2
days of great conversation and spectacular hospitality.

We are underway planning a great program for you. _Please feel free to hold
your room at the Fairmont Mission Inn & Spa by _[6]clicking here_ or calling
800.441.1414 and asking for the DAGA room block_. You should plan to arrive
by 5:00 PM Pacific Time on Wednesday, September 14 and remain through dinner
on Thursday, September 15 to participate in all portions of the conference.
DAGA has negotiated a limited block of rooms for $249 plus tax and fees per
night for Wednesday and Thursday nights only. These rooms are for DAGA
members attending the DAGA Fall Policy Conference only. The Fairmont was
unable to offer DAGA discounted rates for the weekend, so we cannot
guarantee availability or rates past check out on Friday, September 16.
_The room block closes on August 16, 2011, however we cannot guarantee rates
or availability if the room block sells out prior to our cut-off date. _The
Fairmont requires a credit card to make your reservation and has a 72 hour
cancellation policy. If you do not cancel at least 72 hour in advance of
arrival, you will be responsible for one room night. If you must cancel
entirely, DAGA will do its best to resell your room, but if we are unable,
you will be responsible for any fees associated with cancellation. Click

_Canidate Spotlight: Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway_
During his term as Attorney General Jack Conway has showed vigorous
commitment to making Kentucky a safer place for families and small
businesses. Since taking office, General Conway has launched a comprehensive
attack on internet crime, and made strides in pursuit illegal drug
trafficking by creating Kentucky’s first ever task force for prescription
drugs. He has set an example by recovering $175 million for the Kentucky
Medicaid program, and saving taxpayers almost $400 million in his effort.
General Conway’s continues his fight today against those who seek to take
advantage of taxpayers in Kentucky by using the tools of his office to
protect Kentucky consumers and taxpayers.

General Conway is seeking reelection in 2011, using his strong record and
statewide presence to boost him past his Republican opponent Todd P’Pool.
P’Pool has received early fundraising assistance from Senator Mitch
McConnell (R), who helped clear P’Pool’s path in the GOP primary.

Early public polling we’ve seen is encouraging. An early March, 2011 Braun
Research poll shows General Conway up by almost 20 points.

JEFFERSON CITY, MO—Attorney General Chris Koster today released the 11th
Annual Report on Vehicle Stops. The 2010 report contains analysis on more
than 1.6 million stops by 630 law enforcement agencies, including racial and
ethnic information about drivers who were stopped.
