I will reach out to George once I send this email regarding our status.
Here's the overview: Wednesday June 8, lunch with VP Biden along with Obama
Campaign Manager Jim Messina. Location is Jefferson Hotel 1200 16th Street,
NW (Hay Adams will no longer book Obama administration events due to Secret
Service demands). Time sketch: 12 noon - 12:15 social 12:15 seated, lunch
served George welcomes all and introduces Jim Messina. Messina gives
campaign overview and offers Q and A period. VP Biden will arrive sometime
after 12:30 and will stay until 1:30 pm.

White House counsel has ruled Lobbyists cannot attend in spite of George's
generous offer to pay for this gathering. I'm sorry. Regardless, I still
need to ask Andy and/or Mike to come up with a brief memo to share w/ the VP
and Messina regarding issues. Best, dennis.

mike, just left a vm, pls call me when you can. 3 things: White House will
not allow lobbyists to attend this luncheon since it's underwritten by DNC,
I'm sorry and understand if it affects your participation. 2. Hay Adams has
changed its policy and will not host events for Obama administration, so we
are planning to do the Jefferson Hotel, Pavillion Room. 3. please provide
first round of vitals for those attending...i can provide to secret service
piecemeal..but i do need to offer something soon if possible. Best, dennis.

The Washington Room at the Hay Adams should work for this. For conference
style table, you can go to 30 max. If you think you might exceed that
number, please let me know. Otherwise I will go to contract and get it
locked in. I have the photographer, Allison O'Brien, booked for this. I will
make menu selection and get everything set on the front end, but someone
will need to be prepared to take this over about 5 business days prior to
the event when walk-throughs with VP Advance and USSS begin, as I will be on
west coast for events there. Please let me know who that will be so I can
loop him/her in with appropriate folks at hotel and in VP's office. Thank

Of course. I just didn't want to call Hay Adams if someone else has already
reached out.

Due to the issues we had with them a few months ago -- their unwillingness
to accommodate to USSS needs, forcing us to find another venue -- they might
not be an option, depending on which rooms are/aren't available.

Hi - some good updates. I spoke with Alex in the VPs office today and they
are holding 12:30pm - 1:30pm on the VPs schedule for Wednesday, June 8th.
Format, if ok with you, would be a big conference style table for 25. VP
can come in shake hands and then sit and chat. I checked with Messina's
calendar and that date should work for him as well. I am looping in Ellen
Thrower our events director to start the contracting process, as well as
Eric and Andrew from team mid atlantic. Have you already spoken with the
hay adams? What time do you want to call the lunch for? 12pm?

Hildy, hope all's good. Wish to speak when you are able to call. Wish to
do the following. George Tsunis and a few prominent members of the Greek
community wish to hold 2/3 large dollar events. One event for the DNC and
remainder for OVF. First event would be held in September, city undecided
presently.

Wednesday June 9 wish to hold a lunch at the Hay Adams which will include
the VPOTUS. Target number is 25 individuals...20 Greek community, 5
staff,etc. This event will not be a fundraiser, this event will be those in
the comunity committed to this effort. It has been approved by the VP
office. Format would be to have someone from the campaign (Tsunis and
company said they wish Messina if possible) to speak about the campaign
going forward. At some point, VPOTUS will join the lunch and speak of his
deep friendship to the Greek community.

Can we move ahead with this. Obviously people need be vetted, etc. Once we
speak, someone should in turn reach out to Alan Hoffman to make certain all
