Dear Board of Directors,

Just sent out our profile of Tim Kaine and privately, I think we should be so pleased with this pick. While there were many wonderful choices, Senator Kaine was the USGLC's 2014 Tribute Dinner honoree - he has truly been one of the most significant champions on our issues in the United States Senate. He cares deeply about our issues and has worked tirelessly to advance our cause.

And while I don't know if he will still show up, he confirmed earlier this week to speak at our DNC convention event next Thursday in Philadelphia! Obviously, his life has just changed forever, and he won't control his own schedule. I will keep you posted if he can still keep our date!

Lots to discuss as we manage the dueling campaigns, stay highly focused on Congressional campaigns, and deal with the growing unrest about America's engagement in the world.
