Welcome to your weekly #TeamLisa update. With 53 days until the Democratic Primary in September we want to make sure everyone is up-to-date on all our campaign is doing. Here are some key updates:


Women for Lisa! Thank you to everyone who helped make today's Women for Lisa kickoff a tremendous event. In case you missed it, over 130 women packed the room at the Embassy Suites in Newark this morning to celebrate Lisa's historic campaign for Congress. Keynote Speaker and EMILY's List's VP of Campaigns Lucinda Guinn spoke for everyone attending today when she said: "Whether it’s working to create equal pay for equal work, more access to paid family & maternity leave or protecting a woman’s access to quality healthcare, Lisa is going to be a strong voice for Delaware’s women and families. We couldn’t be more thrilled to endorse and support her.” Thanks Lucinda!


Special thanks to House Majority Leader Valerie Longhurst and Reps. Andria Bennett, Stephanie T. Bolden, Debra Heffernan and Kimberly Williams for endorsing Lisa and our campaign for Congress! Your support means everything to Lisa.


Women for Lisa Co-Chair Shefon Taylor also gave an inspiring talk about why we need more women in office and, most importantly, why Delaware needs Lisa! Additional thanks to our Women for Lisa Co-Chairs: Sally Gore, Cynthia Primo Martin, Ellen Kullman, Lozelle Deluz and Joann Conaway. And before I forget, event planners Kailyn Richards, Lisa's sister Marla Blunt Carter, Maija Ross-Hall and Tish Bracy did an amazing job. That "selfie break" was pure genius, Tish!

Meeting & Greeting 24/7. Our goal over these last 7 weeks of the campaign is have Lisa at a Meet & Greet every night across the state of Delaware if we can. The response so far to our ambitious goal has been incredible. That's because we all know that when undecided voters meet Lisa in person, they see immediately why we need her in Congress. GIANT SIGNS. We just received a limited order of giant 4'x8' "Lisa Blunt Rochester for Congress" signs. Since we started ramping up our grassroots outreach program in June, #TeamLisa has made thousands of phone calls to Democratic primary voters and knocked doors across New Castle County and Wilmington.
