STEVEN GREENHUT: Officials in San Bernardino, California want to use
eminent domain to seize the mortgages of homeowners who are underwater.
The idea could “lead to a widespread reluctance by private firms to
lend money in the county -- or at least an increase in the cost of

THE EDITORS: Upholding the Affordable Care Act "is the best result, for
the court and the country. It is not, however, the final word. With the
law’s constitutionality affirmed, the debate will turn again to the
