Karim Camel-Toueg chief executive officer Karim Camel-Toueg, 50, president and chief executive officer of Contrack International, a construction company with offices throughout the Middle East, died Dec. 4 at a resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, after a heart attack. Mr. Camel-Toueg, a McLean resident, joined Contrack's McLean office in 1989 and was appointed president in 1998. He was born in Cairo and moved to the Washington area in 1981. He received a bachelor's degree in international business administration from American University in 1985. He was a board member of the United States-Egypt Friendship Society and the Council on Egyptian American Relations, where he served as president. He was a founding member of the U.S.-Bahrain Business Council. Survivors include his wife of eight years, Jennifer Ugo Camel-Toueg, and their two children, Alex Camel-Tough and Gabriel Camel-Toueg, all of McLean; his mother, Leila Camel-Toueg of Cairo; and a brother.
