Your golf professional at TPC Potomac has sent you the following message:

<p>Dear Members,</p>
<p>Due to extreme heat heading our way from the the middle of the country we are requesting that carts stay on paths beginning tomorrow and continue through the weekend until temperatures break. Handicap flags will be made available.</p>
<p>Although it is only June, the combination of little rainfall and sunny, low humidity, and windy conditions has resulted in a mini-drought on turf in many parts of Maryland. Turf wilting is currently a common site on many golf courses and lawns. If conditions persist, damage will occur on severly wilted or droughty turf from traffic and wear. Examples are attached.</p>
<p>Our goal is to maintain quality playing conditions year round while understanding the desire to be off paths. Thank you for understanding as we work hard to protect your golf course through this heat to ensure great conditions for the rest of the Summer and into the Fall.</p>
