Dear Friends,

Love and greetings.

We have been touched deeply since our june in person and phone meeting by
the deeply painful and shocking events in Orlando, Pakistan, and this week
in New Orleans, St Paul, Dallas, Iraq, and other places around the world.
Some of us are experiencing extreme challenges within our own families.
There have also been moments of great beauty, inspiration and love, as
people search for ways to speak about and create positive change...a
culture where everyone is safe, valued and loved...a culture where we all
care about one another and work together with what unites us. It is
definitely a time for all of us to work on developing our personal capacity
to bring love, wisdom and presence to each moment of our lives.

So we are so excited to have not only one but two firm dates to formally
begin the new One Year Spiritual Apprenticeship! Please make sure that
your calendars are marked for both of the following:

Saturday, August 6th, 1-9 PM

Saturday, August 27th, 12-8 PM

It has been a long journey for some who have been waiting since early in
the year to begin this class. Thank you so much for your patience. One of
the many blessings of this group is the gift of people coming together from
a variety of Awakenings lineages. There is a potency in this constellation
that is very palpable.

It feels like a blessing amidst all of that the world is experiencing to
know we will be gathering together throughout the coming year to hone
presence, to embrace our potency, and to step into our capacities to
respond in any moment to what our lives and the lives of those around us
ask of us. In this time of what the eco-philosopher, activist Joanna Macy
called the Great Turning, that is an exquisite privilege and honor.

We are so looking forward to sharing this journey with each of you. Please
let us know if you have any questions.

In the next few weeks we will send a letter with some things to bring to
the first class.

In great anticipation of our first gathering and of all of the moments and
experiences that we will share on the journey throughout our year together,
and with much love,

Jessica and the Guides- Michael, Anne Frances, Mark, and Kathy Gabriel
