Last night Alabama showed the whole country what we can accomplish when people put what’s right over petty partisanship. Doug Jones’ win is a huge step forward for the country, but we can’t let last night’s historical victory be the only one.

We saw the momentum here in Iowa last night, too. In a special election, Democrats swung a Trump district by 31 points. While the results weren’t what we wanted, Iowans showed us a path to flipping even the reddest parts of our state.

We have the opportunity to change the rhetoric and take a stand against the hateful ideologies rooted in Washington D.C. But we must unite and fight harder than ever before.

Together we can elect leaders who will put people over politics and unseat Steve King -- chip in $5 now.
