The Senate approved Republicans' sweeping tax overhaul, sending it back to the House for a final vote before it goes to President Donald Trump's desk.

The $1.5 trillion measure represents the biggest rewrite of the tax code in three decades and will provide a critical legislative victory for Trump and the GOP.

The House will re-vote on the bill Wednesday after several provisions were deemed out of order under Senate rules.
