Our celebration and ritual of Lights this year reflects a growing need for rejuvenation,
deep inner contemplation, slowing down from our busy lives, and supportive connectivity
with more people.
So invite new family, friends and colleagues to join us in our 90-minute VIRTUAL
Global Holiday Celebration and Ritual of Light!
Or come in person to the
PURPLE ROOM AT INSPIRATION.
4:30-4:40 pm - a contemplation and meditation on Love, Kindness, Compassion, Creativity
and Possibility, facilitated by Jessica Dibb (during this time participants will
also be guided to create a one sentence intention, wish, or prayer if they want,
and text it in to be read during the Ritual of Lights)
4:40 to 5:00 pm silent meditation
5:00 to 6:00 pm - Ritual of Lights - The Solstice Team and participants at Inspiration,
guided by Grace Meredith, will read the one sentence wishes, hopes and prayers from
people who are sending them virtually, light a candle for that person's prayer,
and plant it in our traditional octagonal sandbox that has been used for 2 decades.
Some drumming and song culminates the ritual and sends our wishes and prayers into
the world.
6:00 pm and on - for those in person - Vegetarian Potluck in the Barn with Host
Rory Turner!
