Hunter, After paying all the Rosemont Seneca bills through the end of the year there is $45,191.38 left for distribution to you (actually to Owasco, LLC). This extra money is from the CAF payment that came in a few weeks ago. However, there are two other things I’d recommend you use part of that money for if you agree. Doing either of the below will of course reduce income and therefore taxes too. A) Your 75% of the AMEX Silver balance is $20,251.96. (I’ve paid my 25% and if you can pay the remainder it can be paid off in full.) B) There are a few RSA expenses that will extend into 2018. For example, we can’t make changes to health insurance until March. The copier is under contract until June, etc. If you were to hold back $11,909.99 that should cover 75% of these remaining bills and we can even look to paying them all off ASAP. So, would you like to: 1) Pay down the AMEX? 2) Hold back money for remaining 2018 bills? 3) Pay out your full distribution and deal with the AMEX and monthly bills later? It would make the most sense and be best from a tax perspective to take care of the AMEX and the 2018 bills now. Either way, let me know tomorrow so these payments can be made in 2017. Thanks, Eric
