<p>Dear Parents of SFS Juniors, Class of 2019!</p><p>Welcome to 11<sup>th </sup>grade! We are your new class reps, and we would like to introduce ourselves, and also thank our predecessors – Jackie Becker, Mark Dorfman, Kavita Sethi, and Tessa van der Willigen for all their work over the last year.</p><p>It was great to meet many of you at the Welcome reception on Friday. We hope to see many of you again at the <b>Back to School Night on this Thursday Sept 14 (Check-In in the Upper School Courtyard 6:15-6:45pm; event starts at 6:45pm)</b>.</p><p>We are looking forward to sending out updates, organizing potlucks and keeping everyone informed of our important junior-related events during the year.</p><p>Our emails will come from this dedicated Sidwell Grade Rep account, so please look out for them. Also, please keep an eye out for news from the College Counseling office as well the Sunday Newsletter, which will have up-to-date information Junior/ Upper School happenings.</p><p> </p><p><b>Key dates for Junior parents through October:</b></p><p><b>September 14</b>, Thursday – US Back to School Night, 6:45pm - 9:00pm (check-in at 6:15pm), RLS Meeting Room, US Arts Center</p><p><b>September 25</b>, Monday - Athletics – Back to School Night, 6:00pm - 7:00pm RLS Meeting Room</p><p><b>October 3 </b>, Tuesday – College Financial Aid Night at National Cathedral School, 7:00pm - 9:00pm</p><p><b>October 6</b>, Friday – 11<sup>th</sup> Grade Parent & Guardian Coffee with US Administration, 8:00am - 9:00am</p><p><b>October 9, </b>Monday - NO SCHOOL - Fall Break</p><p><b>October 11</b>, Wednesday – PSAT for Juniors (in Athletic Center) 8:00am - 12:00pm</p><p><b>October 14</b>, Saturday – Homecoming Weekend, Next to New Sale (more to come on this), and Dance 8:00pm - 10:30pm</p><p><b>October 19</b>, Thursday – 11<sup>th</sup> Grade Parent/Guardian College Program 6:30pm - 9:00pm, Mary Ellen Coplin Theatre</p><p><b>October 20</b>, Friday - NO SCHOOL - Faculty report writing day</p><p> If your email changes during the year, please make sure to update it on the Sidwell parent portal as this will automatically update in the 11th grade rep email list as well.</p><p>Again, welcome back to school!
