Dear Board of Directors, We are looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday in Washington for our Fall Board of Directors meeting. There is much to share and discuss, and I thank you for joining for our powerful line-up of speakers and important strategic discussions. Attached please find: * Final Agenda * Minutes from Spring Board Meeting * Links to Read-Aheads A Note on the Schedule In addition to our Capitol Hill champions, we have secured David Beasley, Executive Director of the U.N. World Food Program and Robert Blair, OMB’s Associate Director for National Security Programs for our afternoon roundtable conversations. These will be important discussions, as Director Beasley has a first-hand view of the famine crises around the world, and Rob is the point person at OMB for both the FY19 International Affairs Budget request and the next step in the State/USAID “Redesign” plans. As a reminder, our meeting on Wednesday, October 4 will take place at the St. Regis Hotel (923 16th Street NW) beginning at 9:45 a.m. through dinner. Our meeting will conclude after breakfast on Capitol Hill on Thursday, October 5 at 10:30 a.m. Please find the full schedule below.
