Dear Members of the Truman Center and Truman Project Boards: I am pleased to share with you an update on the fast-approaching Truman Awards Dinner <http://trumanproject.org/home/2017-awards-dinner/> on Wednesday, September 20th. We are thrilled to have Nat Kreamer, <http://trumanproject.org/home/2017-honorees/> chairman emeritus for Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) joining the event to accept the Truman Visionary Leadership Award. As chairman of SEIA, Nat has been a champion of domestic renewable energy as national defense, and jobs for American veterans in the solar industry. He also serves as an advisor to the Rocky Mountain Institute, lecturer at the Institute for Sustainable Energy at Northwestern University, and a member of the National Advisory Council for Grid Alternatives. He is also a former US Navy officer, who served with distinction with JSOC in Afghanistan. I want to thank so many of you for your generous support of this event, and for working with the staff to make connections to others who want to support and/or attend. If you haven't yet, I hope you will consider sponsoring the dinner <https://co.clickandpledge.com/advanced/default.aspx?wid=120609>, and encourage friends and family to join us as well. I look forward to seeing many of you in a few short weeks, and as always, thank you for your support and leadership. v/r, Mike -- *Michael Breen*President & CEO Truman Center for National Policy | Truman National Security Project Office: 202.216.9723 x2325 Cell: 603.828.9550 @TrumanProject | @TrumanCenter www.TrumanProject.org | w <http://www.trumanproject.org>ww.TrumanCenter.org <http://www.TrumanCenter.org> --
