Dear Class of 2017 Parents,

Congratulations to all of you and to your amazing children. As our kids
settle in to their new adventures, many of us have been reflecting on the
rich community that has formed as a result of our SFS journey over the
years. While our kids may be moving on, the bonds we have built as parents
are special and we would love to keep them alive.

So we have set up a private Sidwell 2017 Parents Group on Facebook to stay
connected both virtually and in the real world. To join the Sidwell Friends
Parents '17 page on Facebook, simply click on the link below or go to
Facebook and search for *SFS 2017 Parents Group (non-school affiliated)*,
go to the group and ask to join. The aim is to use the page to organize
gatherings for parents from our class and as a medium for those who would
like to share news about your families/kids. Lori McFarling and Ilona
Birenbaum have volunteered to organize periodic parent events, and we hope
you will take the opportunity to participate. Better yet, reach out to them
and help organize—the more the merrier!

This is different from the school maintained page for parents of alumni and
posts news and event info of general interest to graduated parents. To
