Dear Tenants,

This weekend, the Georgetown BID and Washingtonian Magazine presents the 24th Annual Taste of Georgetown. The event will be Sunday, September 24, 11am-4pm, and returns to its K Street location under Whitehurst Freeway. This year’s event will feature tastes from over 30 of the neighborhood’s best restaurants, craft beer and wine, family fun games and activities.

TRAFFIC & STREET CLOSURES: Sunday, September 24, 12:00AM – 9:00PM K Street between Wisconsin Avenue and Thomas Jefferson St will be closed. At this time the taxi cabs will move their location to Thomas Jefferson St. The event will be taking place from 11am-4pm, and K Street will reopen for regular traffic by 9:00pm Sunday evening. Both the WH Parking Garage and traffic circle near the main entrance of Washington Harbour will remain open during the duration of setup and the event. The Circulator that runs from Union Station along K Street will be diverted to Pennsylvania Avenue. In addition, The American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure is on Saturday, September 23rd. There will be several street closures in Georgetown which may affect traffic around Washington Harbour – traffic advisory attached.
