Re: 2017-2018 Center Board Slate


I am pleased to submit the attached report which contains the proposed slate of Officers and Directors for the 2017-2018 term. You are only voting for new Board members and for those whose terms expired at the end of 2016; they are highlighted in yellow on the attached slate. The remainder of the Board is serving a term that will conclude at the end of 2017.

The following changes to the Board are recommended, subject to the Board's approval:

§ Katy Button, Senior Policy and External Relations Officer with the Gates Foundation is being nominated to replace Rob Nabors who has resigned from the Board due to competing commitments.

§ George Ingram is being nominated to replace Ann Lewis as Treasurer. Ann will remain as a member of the Board.


Below is the proposed slate of individuals nominated to serve as Officers serving two year terms from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2018, and those individuals nominated to serve as Directors for two years from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2018. The list of Directors includes two new names, whose bios are attached:

§ Katy Button, Senior Policy and External Relations Officer, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

§ Lionel Johnson, President, Pacific Pension & Investment Institute
