There are few races where we get to move the needle and change the path our country takes. Two years ago, we took an election for granted and have been paying the price ever since. This year, we can take back the House of Representatives, which will provide a much needed check on President Trump. "Flipping the House" begins with Tom Malinowski, who is running to replace incumbent U.S. Congressman Leonard Lance in New Jersey's 7th Congressional District.

I have known Tom for more than a year, and what I know, I like. He has gravitas and intellect. His grasp of world events is uncanny for a first-time candidate. He mounted a grass roots campaign to win the nomination in a fiercely contested convention fight. He has attracted national donors from both sides of the political spectrum. In short, Tom is to the NJ-7th Congressional District what Josh Gottheimer was to the NJ-5th two years ago.

His former boss, Former Secretary of State and 2004 Democratic Presidential Nominee, John Kerry, is coming to Morristown on October 12th to campaign for Tom. In my opinion, Tom is one of the few candidates who has a chance to topple a sitting Republican Congressman. Mikie and Jeff were able to chase their incumbents out of the race. Let's pull a hat trick this November and move three New Jersey Republican seats to our column. See you on the 12th.
