Shifting gears? Replenish at The Well September 2018 Replenish, Recharge, Relax September marks transitions for so many of us. We're returning from vacations, getting the kids to school, or settling back into work. Many of you are creating new routines with with new babies (congrats!), training for fall athletic events or just trying to savor the last bits of summer. Come see us this September and let the talented team at The Well help with those wellness goals! Getting the Most From Your Session Tips for Maximizing the Therapeutic Benefits of Massage Everybody and every body is unique. Sure, this sounds obvious but it means that each of us has different needs and preferences on the massage table. Here are some tips for having a great experience with The Well: Arrive early. Block an extra 10-15 minutes in your calendar so you'll have time to navigate traffic without added stress. Arriving early gives you time to power down your phone, use the washroom, and sample from our tea selection as you relax and wait for your massage therapist. Let's ease your mental and physical transitions to the table. Pay in advance. When you prepay through our Paypal link, you get to breeze out the door after your session with nary a thought about checking out. It's one more way to minimize stress. Communicate. Our massage therapists are here to help you address your unique needs. During intake, share your goals for your session. While on the table, tell your therapist if you'd like more pressure... or less. Not feeling chatty? That's ok, even a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" provides really useful feedback. Please don't worry that you'll offend us - you're the expert in how your body feels! Afterward, talk with your therapist about what you can do for ongoing self-care until your next session. Read more about communication with your massage therapist here. You're making an investment in your own wellness every time you book at appointment at The Well. Classes ~ Workshops ~ FREE Events New Moon Women's Support Circle with Danielle Waldman The new moon is a time where we can use the moon’s energy to reflect and go deeper within ourselves. Circles give us the chance to do this while being in community with other women. Circles are sacred and it is powerful when women gather collectively. It is meant to be an intentional time to reflect on what is coming up for us during this current moon cycle. During moon circles, we will discuss our theme, meditate so that we can keep our heart and mind in attunement, discuss practices that align with the theme and set intentions for this moon cycle. Join us for this September New Moon Circle as we give ourselves the space to dream and plant intentions that we desire to manifest, all while tapping into the energy of this moon. These circles are open to all who identify as women. Circle Leader Danielle is a life coach, reiki healer and wild woman who uses her intuition and empathetic nature to connect with those around her. She loves to give individuals support on finding their voice, deepening their connection with their intuition and feeling confident in their own, authentic path. Circles have been a sacred space for her to connect with herself and other women. She desires to hold this sacred space for others and empower them to go deep.
