for her service on the CACSC Board of Directors; and for her commitment to Wichita's children as the first and only pediatrician in the community for 20 years to specialize in child abuse, and the first Board Certified Child Abuse Pediatrician in Kansas. * - *Community Philanthropy Leadership Award* *Ruth Wilkenson, *Nucor Steel Jackson *for her stewardship of Nucor Steel’s tremendous generosity to the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Mississippi over the past 4 years; and for her leadership in helping to create the Nucor Training Facilities, housing the Mississippi Chapter’s new, fully equipped mock forensic interview rooms.* - *National Philanthropy Leadership Award* *The Duke Endowment* *for its sustained commitment to financially support the Children’s Advocacy Center movement; and for its positive, nationwide impact on the children CACs serve.* - *Horowitz-Barker Lifetime Achievement Award* *Jan Dunn, *National Children's Alliance *for her decades of committed service within the CAC movement, including: service as an LAPD officer focusing on child (and adult) sexual abuse cases; service as a front-line investigator with the DA’s office in Placer County, Calif.; conducting interviews for the Los Angeles DA’s office while housed at the local CAC; serving the state of California as its chapter director of ten years; serving as the NCA Board President; and serving in several key roles both on NCA's board and staff.* - *Outstanding Chapter Leader Award* *Brenda George*, Children's Alliance of Montana *for her essential leadership in developing the Montana Chapter’s resources and stakeholder relationships as well as identifying and successfully bridging any gaps in services;
