Sen. Jeff Flake said he will vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, one day after hearing testimony from a woman who accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault. Flake said he was undecided on Thursday, wrestling with whom to believe.

His vote means Kavanaugh will receive a favorable recommendation in the Judiciary Committee on Friday morning and advance to the Senate floor on Saturday.

"I left the hearing yesterday with as much doubt as certainty. What I do know is that our system of justice affords a presumption of innocence to the accused, absent corroborating evidence," Flake said.
