Thank you so much for making sure the BlueGreen Alliance's invitation to receive the Good Jobs, Green Jobs Award to your father gets pulled out of the pile! We are so excited to be honoring him with our Green Jobs Champion award and hope he can accept the award and make it to the event-the hundreds of union members and environmentalists in attendance would be beyond thrilled to see him! The BlueGreen Alliance consists of 15 environmental and labor organizations - and our two co-chairs are Leo Gerard, President of the USW, and Michael Brune, Executive Director of the Sierra Club. We want to honor him for his outstanding work at this years conference on April 13th. This is a very widely attended event with significant turnout from the labor and environmental movements.
