We wanted to share with everyone an update on the Sawitoski family in Chicago. Since February, many wonderful things have happened in the Midwest. First, Kenah and I did get married in February and immediately started our family planning. As many of you know we struggled with the wedding planning and eloped on the same date as we had planned to get married in Austin, Texas. Thank you for your understanding as that was a difficult decision for both of us. The change in plans allowed us the perspective to focus on what was most important, starting our life together.

And in starting that life, we created another life.

Attached is what our little man looks like at 20 weeks. If you do the math, we definitely started after we got married. We’re expecting his arrival on February 6, 2015.

He’s very healthy and as you can see, has a large head.

Another big head in the family!

And the news doesn’t stop there. We’re also moving to Singapore.

In November, Kenah and I will relocate to Singapore for two years (expat contract) while I continue to grow the scope of my job at Aon.

From the office of the Aon’s CMO:

Eric Sawitoski will be relocating to Singapore in Q4, continuing in his role as Global Creative Director. Eric will further develop our marketing hub in APAC and will establish a Global Creative Center to organize the firm’s creative network, help manage the process for individual creative projects across the globe, and provide creative direction to all BUs and geographies to support the master brand implementation and ongoing use of Aon’s creative design theme and assets. Eric will continue to report to Andrew Miller and will also report to Chris Camerieri. Please join me in congratulating Eric on this important step for the global marketing function.

Since the details weren’t complete until recently- I only told a couple of people until things were more finalized. (I’m sure some of you already know – we all know how Noreen is with secrets). We struggled with sending out something via snail mail (per Mom’s suggestion) but with the move coming quickly- we chose to go digital. We will be in temporary housing stateside in early November until our new place is ready around November 15.

We’ll be located in Tiong Bahru which is like the Bucktown/Soho of Singapore.

This is an exciting time for our entire family. All of you now have a home base in Singapore and are welcome to visit anytime!
