<p>The Distinguished Visitor Database and our community-wide Public Affairs Calendar are back up and running!</p>

<p>More than a year ago the server where these tools resided was taken off-line and only recently returned to service and the timing of this return couldn’t have been better.</p>

<p>The SECNAV and CNO expect aligned and coordinated communication across the Navy Enterprise. At this week’s 3 & 4 star conference, we discussed the importance of flag outreach and telling our Navy story. The Navy PA Calendar will play an integral role in capturing the communication and outreach already being done and soon to be added. I briefed a slide that depicts the power of the calendar and how it can help inform our decision making by broadening situational awareness of significant events.</p>

<p>KEY POINT: This PA Calendar does not work without your input. This is the time for all of us to populate and take advantage of this invaluable tool for Navy leadership here and at your command. You literally have the SECNAV and CNO’s highest interest on what you are doing.</p>

<p>To that end, we -- as a community -- will begin using this calendar immediately.</p>

<p>The Navy PA Calendar is now CAC-enabled, so the first step is registering for access to the site. A help desk/support center is set up to do this for you and provide a quick refresher/tutorial on using the calendar. Send your name and the 10 digit number on the back of your CAC Card to Ms. Kelli Berry at <a href="mailto:kberry8@csc.com">kberry8@csc.com</a>. You can also reach Kelli by phone at 703-641-3985. Once you are registered you will be able to access the calendar at: <a href="https://admin.chinfo.navy.mil/calendar">https://admin.chinfo.navy.mil/calendar</a>.</p>
