Senior parents are invited to a class-wide potluck at the Battery Park
Clubhouse (7904 Glenbrook Road, Bethesda, MD). This is a neighborhood venue
where all of us bring everything – don't hold back! Sign up below to bring

* 2. SFS Senior Celebration 2019 – Please sign up! Meetings start Feb 26
– 7pm*


Thank you to everyone who has signed up to participate in Senior
Celebration 2019! For those of you who have not signed up yet and for
first-timers, do not miss this fun opportunity! The "don't miss" Senior
Celebration will take place on Saturday, June 1, from 6–9 p.m., in the
Kogod Arts Center. This is an evening for seniors, put on by and featuring
parents of seniors. The event includes a reception followed by a variety
show in which parents aim to both delight and embarrass the kids. It's up
to all of us to plan this beloved evening for parents and seniors. We want
all senior parents to participate and *all skill sets are needed to put on
the show and plan the reception. *Don't miss the opportunity to work
together with friends and make new friends before our children graduate.
Traditionally, at some point, *all the parents take the stage**!*


We encourage everyone to participate. There are still spots for people to
help with creating skits/ videos, lighting, sound, stage management,
announcing and reception planning. Committee meetings will begin soon!
Look out for emails in the coming weeks on next steps for each committee.
The first meeting of the *Creative Team and Reception Team will be at 7 pm
on February 26 in the Choral Room*. After a brief meeting to discuss
details, the creative team will stay to brainstorm ideas. Everyone is
welcome to stay or join in the Creative Team planning. Come to the meeting
if you are remotely interested or even just curious! Bring your friends!
You will be part of an unforgettable evening celebrating our seniors!

*3. Seeking Volunteers for Valentine's Day Teacher Appreciation Cookie
Bake – Feb 14*


Show the love! The annual Upper School Valentine's Day Teacher Appreciation
Cookie Bake is coming up fast on *Thursday, February 14th*. Volunteers are
needed to bring in homemade cookies as well as to package the cookies in
festive wrappings to give to faculty and staff. Creative signage and
