Hello All:
I am forwarding an email on behalf of Darren Thompson for information
regarding the Winter Lacrosse League.

The winter league will held by the Play Her Sports organization at the
Rockville Sportsplex (http://www.playhersports.com/leaguesLacrosse.asp).
We have had good success with this league in the past in that the quality
of play is comparable to ours and the games are fast-paced and fun.
However, the cost of the league has increased a bit to *$225 per player*.
The scheduled time of games - typically late afternoon or early evening on
Sundays - has allowed for pretty decent attendance by our players. My one
caution from a historical standpoint is that the quality of the *experience
is much higher when both teams provide goalies*. The minimum number of
players that we need to field a decent team is 10 to 12, plus a goalie(s).
Both of my daughters are interested, as a starting point.

I am happy to be a part of the coaching group, but would ask that other
parents consider getting in on the fun. Please see key facts below*.*


Dates: Sundays - 12/7, 12/14, 1/4, 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1,
2/8, 2/15, 2/22 (notably, no games over winter break*)*

Cost: $225 per player

Gear Required: Stick, goggles, mouth guard, and turf shoes for field
players. Full goalie gear for goalies is required


We are being asked by the league to indicate our level of interest in the
next week, so a quick "raising of hands" would be helpful. We will need a
