Dear R.Hunter,

In less than 48 hours, we face a critical test. The parties report fundraising totals to the FEC, and pundits will be poring over our numbers to see if Democrats have what it will take to defend our four-seat majority. I know we do. But I need your help to prove it.

The challenges are clear. With a record number of competitive states, a slim majority, and the Koch Brothers' deep pockets funding our opponents, this is the most expensive fight we've ever faced. But I'm not one to back down from a fight, and I know you're not, either. That's why I'm asking for you to stand with the DSCC now.

If the Republicans come out ahead on June 30, THEY will gain the fundraising momentum. Or we can use the collective power of thousands of $5 contributions and create that wave for US. Will you help build the momentum on our side and save our Democratic majority? Every dollar you give before Thursday will be matched!

Karl Rove's group is already on the air attacking Democrats. In fact, Crossroads GPS is spending $20 million to fight our candidates, President Obama, and everything we believe in.

Just look at what the Republicans have tried to do since taking over the House: They've tried to end Medicare, eliminate all funding for Planned Parenthood, and repeal health care reform and Wall Street reform. Their priorities are simply wrong.

Right now, there is only one thing standing in their way – our Democratic Senate. The Republicans know they only need to win four more Senate seats to take over the majority and enact their right-wing agenda. We cannot let that happen.
