It's the last day of the fundraising quarter, and, at this point, we've tried everything. We've told you about all those polls showing how close this race has become. We've told you about how my Republican opponent, with support from folks like Michele Bachmann and the Koch brothers, is up on the air with negative ads. We've told you about the super PACs.

We've begged, we've pleaded, we've destroyed your inbox. But we still have to raise another $13,001 today to hit our goal. So, at this point, I'm just going to ask.

I know we've thrown the kitchen sink at you this quarter. But that's only because the other side has thrown the kitchen sink at us. They're attacking me on TV, online, in the mail -- doing everything they can to smear me and give the Kochs another seat in the Senate.

And here's the thing: It's working. The polls show this race getting closer and closer. It's already close enough that one powerful (expensive) attack from my Republican opponent or his special-interest backers could turn this race on its head if we're not ready to respond.
