The Sikh Center of Delaware is planning a Remembrance/Vigil for the evening
of Wednesday Aug 8 to mark the tragic events in Wisconsin. On behalf of the
Sikh community, we hope you will join us as we honor the victims and reflect
on how we will move ahead together towards a stronger nation.


We extend an open invitation to the Delaware community and are looking
forward to hosting members of the South Asian community. Confirmed guests
include US Senator Chris Coons, NCCo police officers and local media.

At 6pm there will be a Rehras Sahib paath--all are welcome to attend.


We invite you to come to the Gurdwara grounds at 7pm on Wednesday for a
small prayer and candlelight vigil. Afterwards, a community meal (langar)
will be offered, as is Sikh tradition. (As you know, we serve vegetarian
food so that members of all faiths feel welcome.)
