Now we are less than 6 weeks away from the 2012 Baltimore Great Prostate Cancer Challenge, Sunday morning, September 9th. People are getting excited. Event preparations are going well. We have had contributions over $150,000. What a great start!
Now it is time to kick fundraising and registration into higher gear! Get your team signed up. Get your friends and family involved in this important cause that focuses on men's health issues. Never forget that all cancers and all diseases affect the entire family. That is why the Great Prostate Cancer Challenge is a family event!
Our CUA Scholarship funding prostate cancer research has raised over $550,000 of the $750,000 committed and we have held close to 60 prostate cancer screening opportunities in Baltimore continuing to raise awareness about a disease that kills 28,000 men a year and touches us every day.
I want to make this year the best and we are well on our way to do that but I need your help. I need your help to raise money and to get people to the event. Please, contact your family, friends, Facebook and email contacts and neighbors to encourage them to sign up and join us September 9th at Towson University. It is easy to do. Great Prostate Cancer Challenge 5K/1 Mile Fun Walk
Coming Sunday, September 9th


Towson University, Johnny Unitas Stadium
Race Time: 8:30 a.m.
$30 Pre-Race Registration, $35 after September 5th and on Race Day

Registration Includes:

* New 5K Course and 1 Mile Course.
