Our sister ‘hood, Tribeca, is home to this Japanese food temple. At the
center of the amazing room is a huge ice-sculpture of Buddha
melting into a reflecting pool each night. A sense of calm optimism
fills the space and the food backs it up. Beautiful sushi and Kobe
steak highlight the excellent menu.

On a sharp street corner in the West Village is the best little
speak-easy in NYC. Mixology maven, Sasha Petraske’s Little Branch
helped pioneer the “speak easy” trend in NYC. No wonder the trend
caught on. The prohibition-style décor, A+ service and expertly

Enjoy a Night with the Stars! Hudson River Park presents River Flicks,
an outdoor movie series on the banks of the Hudson. Grab a blanket and
some refreshments and lounge in the grass Wednesday’s (PG-13 & R)

popcorn!!

You will want to enjoy this locally-sourced, American west-villager in
their cute/comfortable backyard patio but the classy/casual
townhouse interior (chef’s table!) is very inviting as well. Pro Note:
the door is unmarked, look for a black metal door around the corner on
Morton Street for a smooth entry.

Jerseybirds) flock to Pier 66 all season long to enjoy a cold sip in
