Marsh--thanks so much for sharing this with me. What a wonderful tribute. As a 24 year old staffer on the Senate Ag Committee in 1979 I had the honor and privilege to watch George McGovern as an advocate for rural America, for the poor and the silent voices around the world who needed our help. He led and do so with conviction but also without personal attack. It was such a pleasure to watch he and Bob Dole together--a team that we me never see again in our world of ag. Randy
