JOE NOCERA MARRIED: The N.Y. Times columnist married his longtime fiancée, Dawn Schneider, at a City Hall ceremony in New York City yesterday. Schneider is the communications director for Boies, Schiller & Flexner. Nocera reports that besides being thrilled that he married the woman he loves, he's psyched to not have to refer to Dawn as his "fiancée" in a column ever again, and he won't get periodic emails from readers demanding: 'When are you going to marry this woman?' His children -- Kate, Amato, and Nick -- are very happy for the couple -- as is their son, Macklin, 2, though he doesn't know it yet.
