Leading Latin American Publication Names
Two Chadbourne Partners Among
"Top 50 Female Lawyers"

Latinvex has named Chadbourne & Parke partners Silvia Fazio and Margarita Oliva Sainz De Aja as two of its annual "Top 50 Female Lawyers." Chadbourne is only one of three international firms to have two partners named to the list.

Latinvex focused on a combination of factors, including regional and local prominence, prominence of the law firm and awards and recognition from such sources as Chambers & Partners. The editorial staff included lawyers from all Latin American countries in addition to major foreign law firms with a Latin America focus.

Resident in Chadbourne's Sao Paulo and London offices, Ms. Fazio advises corporations and high net-worth individuals on international corporate and commercial work with a focus on cross-border investments, joint ventures, international banking and financial agreements, and international tax planning structures. She leads the Brazil Desk in the firm's London office, which services U.K. and European clients that are active in Brazil.

Based in the New York office, Ms. Oliva's practice concentrates on corporate and project finance transactions across Latin America. She has extensive experience in project finance matters, representing the major multilateral and bilateral agencies, private financial institutions, sponsors and ECAs to structure and negotiate complex, multi-jurisdictional infrastructure and energy transactions. In addition, Ms. Oliva has also advised clients on a variety of general banking, capital markets and corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and outsourcings.
