Dear Hunter, Bonnie, Sandy & Randy,

This week, I met with a senior administration official who described their proposed change to Title II/food assistance that will be included in the President’s budget submission (“off-the-record”). They specifically asked for our help in building support for the proposed change – which is very similar to the suggestions that we previously offered. I hope we can dedicate part of our call next week to discuss the nature/extent of our support – as there are certain elements that may be controversial. Because of his deep involvement in this issue, I hope to invite Dan Glickman to join the call. I look forward to speaking with you – and thanks again for your invaluable assistance/insights.
