Jim,

Thanks for the message below. I will be attending the Mauldin/Altegris
conference in the San Diego area from May 2nd-4th. Tomorrow (Wednesday May 2
nd) would work best. I am available between 2:30pm-5pm. Unfortunately, I
won’t have a car, so you would need to meet me at the hotel. I am staying
at the Park Hyatt Aviara. Cliff, we could meet in the lobby and go for a
cup of coffee if that fits your schedule. My mobile is; 312-498-9595.

Dear Arlene:


I lead the business development team for Brandes Investment Partners and
was fortunate enough to have David in my office in Geneva two weeks ago. He
mentioned your name in regard to institutional consulting firms.


It would be a pleasure to have the opportunity to meet you and learn about
your business. While I would love to get out to DC to do just that, I now
understand that you will be in the San Diego area this week. Would you
perhaps have some time to meet with one of my colleagues, either at your
conference or our offices near Del Mar? We would of course accommodate your
schedule.


I have copied Cliff Schireson, who leads our consultant relations team. He
is a senior manager at the firm and would be happy take you through our
