BREAKING: Republican aligned groups spending big money attacking Democrats
With Mitt Romney essentially locking up the nomination this week, the GOP and their well-funded outside groups are gearing up to spend big money attacking President Obama and Democratic candidates. Our Republican counterparts just announced plans to spend $25 million in key battleground states including Virginia, Missouri, and Wisconsin this fall – just the opening bid in their efforts to drown Democrats in a deluge of attacks.

Right now though, Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS is pouring $1.7 million into attack ads targeting President Obama and Democratic candidates in six battleground states.
