Dear Hunter,

While there may still be snow on the ground here in DC, we have it on good account
that it is actually springtime here in DC. As such, there is no better way to truly
mark the arrival of nice weather, springtime, and sun dresses than the annual trip
out to the Virginia Gold Cup. We will be hosting our 8th Annual trip on Saturday
May 4th, and we are thrilled to have great sponsors on board again this year,
including Woodford Reserve and Premium Distributors. Additionally, and most importantly,
we will once again be raising money for SOME, and any proceeds will benefit their
organization.

Our tent will be located in our normal location on the North Rail, and your ticket
price ($135) this year will include:


* private bus charter to the event
* refreshments and light snacks on board the buses
* admission to the races and to our private tents
* fully catered tent and full open bar(call/premium level brands)
* complimentary koozie and cups
* private party upon return to Town Hall
* free overnight parking at Town Hall
* anything else fun we can think of between now and then...

Once again, buses will depart at approximately 10AM and we will have a finite and
limited amount of spaces available. Buses will return at approximately 6:45 PM.

There will also be a very limited amount of Tent-Only tickets available for $90.
These tickets will allow you full admission to our tent, but you will need to arrange
for your own transportation and parking passes.

The event has sold out every year, and will sell out this year as well. The event
runs rain or shine, and there are no refunds for inclement weather.

Ticket Sales will vary slightly this year...

All sales will be conducted online this year. When you receive this email, the eventbrite
page will already be live. Additionally, we will be offering an early bird discount
of $15. This discount will be available until midnight Wednesday, or until the first
6 buses fill up, whichever comes first. The discount code is "mr.ed", and if used
will effect a slightly cheaper ticket price than last year. Furthermore, although
we know its lots of fun, you will no longer have to collect all your friend's checks
and schlep up to Town Hall.

This email and our facebook page will serve as the only advance notice of ticket
sales and there will be no public announcement preceding this weekend except to
those of you who have attended past events or have a special place in our heart.
If for some reason someone who should have gotten this email didn't, it is not intended
as a slight, please feel free to forward this to friends if you think they may not
have gotten this notification in error.
