Today is the last day of September, which means tomorrow is the start of the final full month before Election Day.

This year, we have a great group of women running for office here in Delaware, and I'm doing everything I can to make sure they have the resources they need to win on November 4th.

Today, I'd like to tell you about two of those candidates -- Claire Snyder-Hall (DE-6) and Sarah Buttner (DE-4) -- both running for State Senate. Claire and Sarah understand that the solutions to the problems facing Delawareans are not Democratic or Republican solutions. They're commonsense solutions.

As Delaware's Attorney General, I've had the privilege to serve with elected officials at all levels of government, and I know that Claire and Sarah would make fantastic additions to the Delaware State Senate.

Claire and Sarah are newcomers to politics, but don't let that fool you. Claire is a former college professor with a Ph.D in Political Science. And during her time at the DuPont Company, Sarah worked with legislators in Delaware and Washington for more than a decade.

Over the last few months, Sarah and Claire have been working around the clock -- knocking on doors and listening to the ideas and concerns of the families in their districts. They're doing everything they can to turn out the voters they need to win this year. And we can help them.
