Hi Hunter...hope all is well with you. It was great seeing Kathleen this past weekend. I know you must receive a ridiculous amount of Resumes for internships however Maureen asked me to pass this along. They happen to have a home in Long Beach across from Amy and Chris on LSD. Kath mentioned CSIS so I will forward that info along to him since I am not sure where he has already applied. If you might have other recommendations I'm sure they would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and look forward to seeing you this summer!

Mrs. Fitzsimons,

I study Chinese and Political Science at Notre Dame and have worked in China for the past two summers. My ultimate goal is to eventually work in the intelligence community within the federal government (CIA,NSA,Dept. of State...etc) and then move into politics at a later point. So far, I have applied for or am in the process of applying for several internships in DC and China and could use any help I can get. I am trying to find work in DC or in China in whatever capacity I can and would love any experience in the federal government even if it isn't directly related to my experience/studies. All I want to do is get my foot in the door so that I can work my way up and hopefully land a permanent job after graduation in 2015. I have attached my resume and a short writing sample for reference and can send you over anything else you or anyone else may need.

Thank you so much for your offer to help, I really appreciate your making connections for me. I hope to talk with you soon!

Best,
Jack McKenna
