Dear Hunter,

You remember Sharron Angle, the Tea Party extremist who ran against us in 2010? She's back -- and she's introduced a law that would restrict voting access in Nevada.

Nevada isn't the only place extreme Republicans are pushing discriminatory laws aimed at preventing certain groups from casting their ballots.

Not long ago, the Supreme Court struck down a provision of the Voting Rights Act -- a law that has been protecting Americans' right to vote for 48 years. It's up to Congress to restore the protections the VRA provides.

I'm committed to fixing the Voting Rights Act and protecting the right of every eligible American to cast a ballot. If you agree, sign the petition today.
